Q Origin is designed to be quiet, slow, and usable by everyone. Our target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA across every public page and every surface of the practice.

What we commit to

Keyboard. Every interactive element is reachable and operable from the keyboard, with a visible focus state.
Screen readers. Pages use semantic HTML, a single <h1> per route, labelled form controls, and ARIA only where semantics are not enough.
Contrast. Text meets at least 4.5:1 against its background; large text and UI controls meet 3:1.
Reduced motion. We respect prefers-reduced-motion. Ambient animation is removed for those who request it.
Tap targets. Primary controls meet a minimum 44×44 CSS-pixel tap area on mobile.
Voice journal. Voice input is optional. Every voice surface has a text equivalent.

Known gaps

We test with VoiceOver (iOS / macOS) and NVDA (Windows) on every release. Known current gaps:

The Year Film viewer is not yet fully audio-described — a captioned alternative is on the roadmap.
The numerology chart visual has a text summary available but is not yet a fully navigable data table.

Both are tracked and will be addressed in the next cycle.
